Heartland Church Ministry in Kampong

Praise God for these wonderful children. Heartland Church has lunched Sunday School Club on Sunday Morning for the Children in the Community.

We have over one hundred children coming that we have to put them into five groups or six with 16 Sunday School Teachers that we selected from our youths. Each group runs different activities at the same time for a certain time limited and then we rotate the kids around so that all of the kids can enjoy all activities. We have Bible Stories, Games, Celebration...

Please pray for this Sunday School Activities. And we are glad for your donation toward this. We need your help and money for the kids rewards, materials, fruits, cookies, and drink for them every week. We spend around 30 US dollars for weekly activities. We need you all to impact these kids for the nation of Cambodia.

The church now runs two services. Chil-dren Church in the morning and Adult Church in the afternoon on Sunday.

For me personally I like to dream. Because dream doesn’t cost anything at all. So why dream small? In next 20 years after coming to Heartland Church all of these children will become wonderful Christian man and woman and Christian parents. And what will happen next in this community? The whole community will be Christian community. And what will happen if the whole community become Christian? There will be so many good things happening then. There will be no more domestic violence or gangs but full of love, sharing and be good citizen to the society of Cambodia. We will have more Christ disciples into society, witnessing. And there will be more business man and woman that will support local church and there’s more and more...

There’s no much problems in having children in Cambodia. That’s why we see that some families have even 7-10 children. But the problem is that the families cannot afford to feed them and educate them the right way. So let’s take this opportunity to impact, educate, teach them the way of our Lord. And when they grow up, they will be the man and woman of God.

So now we need you all to help us financially. Your donation will go directly into their lives through these activities at Church. There’s so much to do in Cambodia. So don’t wait. If not now, when? Make yourself available to the call of God.

The Nature of The Seed

Let join with us praise God who created the universe. Glory to God to which the heavens and the earth belongs. Hallelujah to our dear heavenly Father. He is amazing. Jesus, you are our Great Lord and best friend that we can stand in you the Truth that set us free. And deeply thanks to Holy Spirit that you walk with us each and everyday. You are here to help us grow, to bring us through, and move us forward. Love you!

Pastor Channa have talked to his great leaders the other day that: “ So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything but only God, who makes things grow”. He quoted from 1 Corinthians 3:7. He keep telling to his leaders that we don’t need to pray for church to grow. There’s two reason for this. 1– because it’s Jesus’ commitment to build his church 2– Naturally, there’s nothing in this world that have life doesn’t grow. We don’t pray for the mango tree or banana tree to
grow. We don’t pray for children or our kids to grow. They all grow naturally. All we have to do is keep watering and feeding them the right food.

So the questions are: -How do you want to see them grow? likewise with your children, how do you want them to grow? If you don’t help your children grow each and everyday they still grow but they will grow in a bad way. pastor Channa called it Bad Growth and Good Growth. –Are you available and be there with the Growth? are you there with your children growth? Can you catch up with the growth? Are you ready for the growth? Do you have enough good resources for the growth? Most important thing is this: Does it grow according to the will of God? Because God has purpose for each and everything that have life on earth. Do you know that?

God has brilliant purpose for his church from the Great Commandments to the Great Commission. Matthew 22:37, 39 God wants his church to grow in –Worship and Ministry. Matthew 28: 19, 20 God wants his church to grow in: - Evangelism - Fellowship and –Discipleship. So we don’t grow members in Heartland Church but we are here to help them grow to their Godly designed purpose.
When your children grow, are you there with them or you are very busy and away from them, letting them grow by themselves? When your church grow, are you there with them? Or are you very busy with something else and let the church grow by themselves?

Do we have enough resources available to meet the needs of our children and the church in their growth? So that they grow in the best environment.
